Sea to Sky Highway Drive Photo Gallery

The Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) is the 121-kilometre road connecting Vancouver to Whistler. The highway underwent extensive renovations in the mid-2000's as a part of the preparation for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games - parts of which were held in Whistler. This transformed the roadway from a one lane road into two lane highway. It also cut the drive by about 25 minutes.

The highway connects the four communities that create the Sea to Sky Corridor (Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton). Highway 99 is regarded as one of the most scenic drives in Canada. During the drive, guests will hug the Pacific Ocean as they wind their way through the Pacific Coast Mountain Range. Sweeping views of glaciers, ocean views and wildlife will greet drivers on their hour and half drive to Whistler.
