Whistler Multicultural FestivalThe Whistler Multicultural Festival is a one-day event celebrating the many cultures represented in Whistler. The event will take place at Florence Petersen Park located next to the Whistler Library and Whistler Museum.

During the event participants will have the opportunity to take part in a number of activities from varying cultures. Some of the events include dancing, singing and martial arts from the Philippines, China, Japan, Ukraine, South America, Russia, First Nations and Korea. There will also be a number of workshops with activities including making origami tree ornaments, First Nations crafts, learning calligraphy, making Inca bead jewelry, celebrate Tanabata, making Czech dragon's, painting Japanese and Mexican masks and much more.

Of-course no multicultural event would be complete without a buffet of food from the various culture's participating.
