26th Annual Whistler Pride and Ski Festival this January!
Whistler Mountain has opened 5 days ahead of schedule this year, only furthering our anticipation for another great ski season. With lots of snow on the mountains and a calendar full of great events throughout the winter, Whistler truly is a winter wonderland.
On January 21 - 28, 2018, Whistler will be hosting the 26th Annual Whistler Pride and Ski Festival. Experience the incredible mountain terrain of Whistler Blackcomb at one of the biggest gay and lesbian ski weeks in North America!
Every year, the Whistler Pride and Ski Festival is chock-full of fun events and activities for guests to enjoy. This 8 day festival has over 60 diverse and energetic events scheduled for the week including, skiing, boarding, social events, parties, and so much more. With a schedule this packed full of events it's going to be hard to choose what to do, so here are a few events you won't want to miss during the 2018 Whistler Pride and Ski Festival:
Whistler Pride Ski and Snowboard Guided Groups
Everyday of the festival you can get up the mountain to enjoy Whistler’s spectacular snow conditions. New to the mountain? Get together with one of the daily Whistler Pride and Ski guided groups to get to known Whistler Blackcomb and make some new friends. The meeting location for guided groups changes everyday so make sure to check the schedule!
Après Ski Sessions
Always an important part of any good ski day – après. Whether you were on the mountain all day, strolling the village, or at the spa, après is a must while you’re in Whistler. Join in one of the many après events happening over the 8 days before starting the night's adventure.
Snowball 26 with The Cube Guys
Join the party on the last Saturday of pride week at Snowball 26. This year, international DJs, The Cube Guys, will be headlining Whistler Pride's main event at the Whistler Conference Centre. This is a must-see event where the conference centre is turned into a gigantic nightclub that is up to par with the best venues in the world.
