State Of The ART

Once again the arts have a major role in the WSSF. Stroll around the Grand Foyer of the Whistler Conference Centre, immerse yourself in artistic talent, and even pick yourself up a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork. Sub-cultures and all it's anti-movement relatives are celebrated and portrayed in gritty and thought-provoking mediums at this WSSF event.

Artists have been invited from far and wide to come together and create a community of urban street, snow ingenuity, and push the boundaries of the State of the ART. The gallery opening at the Whistler Conference Centre will be at 8pm on April 7 and will be open from noon - 6pm, April 8 - 14, for people to visit.

Mutiplicity

Multiplicity is something you didn't even know you wanted - visual storytelling at its finest, delivered by unique and passionate personalities in the mountain world. Reminiscent in style to a Tedtalk, this event has become a crowd favorite at the festival because of its enriching message to the audience.

This multi-media production is designed to be impactful and inspire as much as it entertains. In 2013, when the event premiered at the festival, it was immediately discussed as the most underrated event at WSSF.

Come enjoy an evening at the Whistler Conference Centre to experience a night of world-class storytelling by Sherry McConkey, Ken Achenbach, Colin Angus, Aaron & Hawkeye Huey, Leslie Timms, Jon Turk,  Brett Tippie, and Tamo Campos.

Check out the WSSF Website for tickets and more information about Multiplicity!

These aren't the only great events going on at WSSF this year. There's also a couple filmmaker contests, screenings, comedy shows, roller derby, and so much more. You really don't wanna miss out on being in Whistler this April!
