Whistler is full of fantastic events and activities happening throughout the year, but the late Summer festivals may be some of the most fun! There's a little something for everybody in the upcoming months with plenty of festival action on its way to Whistler from August to October, so let's get started.

Join yogis from around the world at Wanderlust Whistler for a celebration of wellness and yoga in the mountains. This annual festival is a mix of dancing, dining, and downward dog. Embrace the community atmosphere while you learn from the world's top yoga teachers and listen to musical acts, renowned speakers, top chefs, and winemakers - You won't want to miss Wanderlust Whistler!

Crankworx Whistler

August 10 - 19, 2018

You haven’t celebrated mountain biking if you haven’t been to Crankworx. This 10-day festival brings the world’s best riders and fans to a west coast mecca of mountain biking – the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Locals, visitors, and world-class athletes celebrate mountain biking with competitions, workshops, music, art, parties, and much more. It’s never too early to start gearing up for Crankworx in Whistler!

Whistler Village Beer Festival

September 11 - 16, 2018

Now in its 6th annual celebration, the Whistler Village Beer Festival is back and better than ever with even more craft beer on tap. New this year is one more day of events and activities! Get ready for food pairing dinners, unique cask nights, live music, and of course, the star of the show – craft beer. The Main Event of the Whistler Village Beer Festival is hosted on Saturday and Sunday and features over sixty breweries with 120+ of the best craft beers, and ciders BC has to offer. While the focus of the festival is mainly on local food and drink, there will be some national and international brews available as well.

October 11 - 14, 2018

A favourite of readers, writers, and anybody who has been before, the Whistler Writers Festival is back to celebrate the art of storytelling. Join bookworms of all levels for a weekend packed full of writing workshops, panel discussions, spoken word performances, and other reading events. Make sure you plan in advance if you want to attend the Whistler Writers Festival because many events often sell out!
